We are the only expedition that measures the vital parameters of our mountaineers such as oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate continuously live on the mountain and has them evaluated by our expedition doctor. State-of-the-art medical equipment like ultrasound, monitoring methods directly from intensive care medicine, wearable technology and an increased oxygen flow rate guarantee that oxygen saturation remains at basecamp level throughout the ascent. This ensures physical performance and the risk for altitude-related HAPE or HACE can virtually be excluded.
